Today Markson Pianos is London’s leading piano supplier for private homes and institutions as well as concerts and events throughout the country.
As piano specialists with four generations of experience, Markson Pianos can offer sound advice, a wide choice of instruments and an after sales service second to none. Not only are we piano specialists, but also interact with the wider musical community, supporting and promoting concerts and events including PianoDay London, Masterclasses and our very own concert series.
Markson Pianos is a fourth generation family business, founded in 1910 by Louis Markson, a piano tuner and repairer with a reputation for exacting standards.
Louis was joined by his two sons Keith and Maurice soon after WWII and they opened up branches in North West and South East London. They not only continued with the restoration of pianos for department stores but also for private homes and institutions.

Keith’s son, Julian and Maurice’s son, Simon join the business and continue the family tradition. They further develop through acquisition and diversification.
