A bit on Knight Pianos

Originally manufactured in Loughton, Essex, England, Knight Pianos were one of the finest pianos made in the UK.  Very rich in tone, and still going strong today, the pianos were almost of indestructible quality.   Established in 1936, the company was sold to Bentley Pianos in the late 1980s, and in 1993 Whelpdale Maxwell and Codd (Welmar Pianos) acquired the company assets.   Production ceased in the early 2000s.
